The fine print, up front
The campaign is organized by unit owners at Ocean Tower One. In the campaign site's own words: “This is not an association website.” It is an owner-built resource, not the condo association's official channel — and every page of the campaign says so.
The challenge
The biggest project in the building's history — decided by whoever shows up.
Ocean Tower One is approaching its 25-year milestone inspection — the largest project, and the largest expense, the building has ever faced. The board elected on October 19, 2026 will steer it.
The obstacle isn't apathy — it's process. Condo election voting is cumbersome enough that votes have historically been disqualified over paperwork: missing proof documents, ballots sent the wrong way, deadlines quietly missed. In a high-stakes election, every disqualified vote is a voice lost.
The approach
Make voting correctly the easy path.
01
The campaign website
oceanclubtower1.com carries candidate bios, the plan, election dates, a Q&A, and plain-language “Tips for Owners” articles — one place where every owner can get informed.
02
The Voting Package
A web tool that turns an error-prone process into one click: it prepares each owner's email ballot plus every proof document required to validate the vote. The owner reviews it and forwards it from their own email to the official election address — and keeps the receipt.
03
Opt-in election alerts
Owners sign up to be texted and emailed the dates that matter — when ballots go out and when voting closes. Supported by QR-code signup, a voter-finder tool (“who votes for your unit”), and an opt-in owners' WhatsApp chat.
The differentiator
Consent-first by design.
Anyone can blast texts. We build campaigns people actually said yes to. Every element of the messaging program is designed around express consent and the rules that govern it.
Express opt-in only
No owner receives an alert text without affirmatively signing up. Consent language, message-frequency and rate disclosures, and links to the privacy policy and terms sit at the point of opt-in.
Regulatory alignment
The program is designed to follow all applicable messaging rules, including the TCPA's prior-express-written-consent standard for automated texts, the CTIA Messaging Principles & Best Practices, and carrier 10DLC campaign registration requirements.
Instant, honored opt-outs
STOP requests are processed immediately, and HELP is supported.
First-party lists only
No purchased, rented, or scraped contact lists — ever.
Consent records
Opt-in source, timestamp, and the exact consent language are retained for every subscriber.
Respectful cadence
Low frequency, tied to genuinely useful moments — ballots out, deadline approaching — at reasonable sending hours.
Data stewardship
Owner information is never shared publicly or sold, mirroring the campaign's own privacy commitment.
Voter autonomy
The tools prepare and simplify. Each owner reviews and sends their own ballot from their own email — the campaign never casts or submits a vote on anyone's behalf.
The signup form's consent language, verbatim: “I agree to receive election update text messages from Ocean Tower One Election Alerts. Message frequency varies. Msg and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe.”
